Clemson

Clemson has done lots of things.  Bill Moss says all the intro math classes (and here) up through differential equations are taught in a SCALE-UP mode.  Lisa Benson is the contact for General Engineering (where all sections of first year courses are taught this way).  Sherrill Biggers is the person for Mechanical Engineering (where all sections of statics and dynamics are taught in these rooms), Matthew Ohland is now at Purdue, but was instrumental in setting things up.  Scott Schiff is the contact for Civil Engineering. Barbara Weaver has taught a comparative literature course in the SCALE-UP format.  There are nursing and business management classes also taught this way.

A paper and case studies (ingeneral engineering and statics) are available on the engineering implementation.  A case study on Calculus III is also online.
