Welcome to the SCALE-UP website. On these pages you will find information provided by institutions that have adopted the SCALE-UP approach to teaching and learning.
Click Browse all Adopters Pages to get started. The magnifying glass in the top right corner of the page searches for special keyword Tags, like "physics" or "chemistry" or "groups" or you can look for a particular word or phrase on the wiki pages.
To return here, you can either click on Adopters Home under What's Hot, click on the word "wiki" in the upper right of the page, or click on the word Adopters at the top left of the page.

If you are a SCALE-UP adopter and have editing privileges, you will find instructions here. (If you need those capabilities, you will need to arrange that with Bob Beichner.)

There is a nice page called "How do I implement studio teaching?" at the Science Education Resource Center at Carleton College. It does a good job of describing the underlying philosophy of studio-style teaching.
